Engineer Surveyor (Lifting & Crane Equipment)
Location
Covering the Lancaster to Preston Area
Salary
Basic from £38,500 plus car allowance and an excellent benefits package.
Shift
Days, Monday - Friday, flexible working hours.
Responsibilities
* Inspect equipment such as forklifts, mobile elevated working platforms, passenger lifts, cranes, plant equipment, military vehicles and aircraft.
* Identify defects and help prevent potential and avoidable defects.
* Prepare detailed inspection reports.
* Ensure customers comply with LOLER / PUWAR regulations.
* Provide excellent level of customer service.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* Hands‑on experience with lifting equipment including forklifts, platforms, passenger lifts, cranes, plant equipment, military vehicles or aircraft.
* Strong mechanical fault‑finding skills.
* Experience working on various lifting equipment in manufacturing, military, marine, distribution or field service environments.
* Must live within the Lancaster to Preston area.
Desirable Requirements
* Excellent knowledge of LOLER / PUWAR regulations.
