Job Description
Primary Independent School
Location: Crewe
Contract: Fixed-term until July 2026
Pay: £88.92 – £100.00 per day (dependent on experience)
New Directions is working in partnership with a small Primary Independent School in Crewe to recruit a dedicated and proactive professional. This unique setting is committed to re-engaging the disengaged, supporting children who are at risk of permanent exclusion to rebuild their confidence, rediscover their love of learning, and find their pathway back into full-time education, whether in a mainstream or specialist setting.
The school is a nurturing, close-knit provision with approximately 10 pupils currently on roll. This allows for highly personalised support, strong relationships, and a responsive learning environment shaped around each child’s individual needs, interests, and strengths. A skilled, collaborative staff team works together to create an inclusive and engaging culture where every child is supported to succeed.
Due to the small size of the team, the successful candidate must be proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to look beyond behaviour to build trust, challenge negative perceptions of school, and help pupils re-engage with learning. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need it most.
