Their aim is to work together to challenge stigma and oppression, by creating a respectful environment.\nYour new role\nMain Purpose of the Role\n\nSupport service users from entry into the service through their treatment and recovery journey.\nDeliver high-quality care to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm.\nPromote involvement of carers, service users, and the community.\nProvide advocacy for access to partnership services. Core Duties\n\nAssessment & Planning \nConduct screening, triage, and risk assessments.\nDevelop recovery plans tailored to individual needs.\nAssess suitability for group work and onwards referrals.
\n\nInterventions\nDeliver psychosocial interventions (e.g., CBT-based approaches).\nProvide harm minimisation and brief interventions.\nFacilitate 1-to-1 key work sessions, group work, and structured programs. \n\nRecovery Support\nHelp individuals build recovery resources and access peer/mutual aid groups.\nSupport social reintegration and resilience building.\nPromote recovery communities and links with local support networks.
