Job Opportunity: Private Client Legal Director/Partner
Location: Glasgow
Overview:
A growing private client practice is seeking an ambitious Legal Director or Partner to help shape the next phase of its development. You will work closely with high‑net‑worth individuals, families and trustees on complex, high‑value matters while supporting the continued growth of an evolving, forward‑looking team.
Role Requirements:
* Advise on the full range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estates, succession planning, inheritance tax and powers of attorney
* Lead on high‑value and technically complex instructions, acting as a trusted adviser to clients and referrers
* Contribute to the ongoing development and visibility of the Private Client offering
* Drive business development, networking and relationship‑building initiatives
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues
Experience:
* Scottish‑qualified solicitor with substantial experience in private client work
* Excellent communication and client‑relationship abilities
* Commercially minded, with clear ambition to build and grow a practice
Skills:
* Expertise across private client matters, including complex estates and wealth‑planning work
* Ability to manage matters independently and operate effectively at senior level
* High technical capability and sound professional judgment
