Work pattern: Rota based hours between 8am – 8pm (applicants must be able to commit to a mix of day and some early evening work on occasion)
What we are looking for:
1. Experience of working within a professional catering environment
2. Experience as a Catering Technician, ideally in an education environment
3. Flexible approach to work
4. Ability to work independently and in our small team
5. Tidy and able to organise and prioritise tasks
Duties/Responsibilities:
6. Support our existing Technician, Chef-Lecturers and our Practical Instructors, with the preparation, and maintenance of these areas for practical demonstrations and cookery sessions
7. Adherence to department cleaning protocols and health & hygiene processes and procedures
8. Taking receipt of deliveries,
9. Support of the teaching team during service in the restaurant on occasional evenings.
10. May also be responsible for supervising and supporting work experience students
