Overview

We’ve partnered with Coeur et Maman, a startup in the lifestyle and interiors space. They’re seeking a commercially minded Chief Marketing Officer to help shape the next stage of their growth. If you’re a senior marketer with experience scaling DTC brands and a desire to invest your skills in something purposeful — this could be the right fit.

This is a sweat equity opportunity. You’ll be trading time, expertise, and strategic leadership for a meaningful stake in the business. There’s no salary at this stage, but the long-term upside is real for the right person.

Coeur et Maman means heart and mother, and that’s exactly what this brand is rooted in. They create heirloom-quality décor, gifts, and keepsakes that help young families celebrate meaningful milestones and create lasting traditions.

The creative direction is strong, the first collections are live, and the brand is gaining traction. Behind the scenes, the company runs on an agile operating model designed to keep overheads low, reduce inventory risk, and respond quickly to customer demand — making it a lean, scalable proposition.


The Role

You’ll work closely with the founder to translate a clear creative vision into a sustainable growth engine.

As CMO, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the brand and growth strategy across both B2C and B2B channels. This includes:

* Brand & Content: Define the brand narrative and lead content strategy across all platforms
* Growth Marketing: Plan and deliver campaigns across Instagram, Pinterest, email, and influencer channels
* Wholesale & B2B: Identify, approach, and build partnerships with aligned stockists and retail partners
* Performance Tracking: Monitor results, analyse data, and refine tactics to maximise ROI

You’re likely a senior marketer with 10+ years’ experience, ideally in lifestyle, interiors, luxury retail, or e-commerce. You’re strategic yet hands-on, with a sharp instinct for balancing brand-building and commercial performance. Most importantly, you’re ready to back a business you believe in — not just consult from the sidelines.


Commitment

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role at a business designed to scale — with creativity, commercial focus, and heart.

Commitment: ~24 hours/week, flexible around other projects or commitments
