Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 and Fridays 07:00 - 13:00

Role Overview: To support the Ops Manager to provide professional and effective ground maintenance contract support across the BAE Systems estate in Barrow-in-Furness. Lead a small team of grounds maintenance operatives to deliver the grounds maintenance regime. What you'll do:
1. Responsible for planning and coordinating all grounds maintenance activities to ensure agreed standards are maintained
2. Ensuring all tasks are completed safely
3. Manage all associated grounds maintenance documentation ensuring they meet requirements
4. Recognise seasonal requirements and plan activities accordingly
5. Complete checks/audits and submit to Ops Manager
6. Complete monthly reporting
7. Produce routine plan in advance
8. Manage all H&S aspects including subcontractor control
9. Control weeds and organise spraying
10. Manage subcontractors for street sweeping
11. Communicate shortfalls due to weather
12. Ensure minimal disruption to customers
13. Management of reactive jobs
14. Act upon reasonable requests from management
15. Flexible working as required
