Working with a variety of interesting clients, you will play an important role in leading large and more complex audit assignments on site, alongside developing and supporting our talented Audit Seniors and Trainees.
Long term, you’ll receive ongoing support to progress to a manager, director even up to partner level (if this is part of your career plan). A team of internal experts offer a comprehensive, bespoke training programme and provide technical and practical skills, which continues after you've qualified.

What you'll be doing day to day
1. Audit planning and carrying out statutory audits of corporate clients, both on-site and in the office
2. Leading larger and more complex assignments
3. Leading the audit team on-site, ensuring audit procedures are adhered to
4. Real contact time with colleagues and a diversified range of clients
5. Supporting the manager and partner group on ad hoc projects and assignments
6. Supervising and supporting the work of junior team members
7. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients
8. Liaising with clients to ensure a smooth and successful client experience
9. Producing work for Manager and/ or Partner review
10. Highlighting technical or client-specific issues and providing possible solutions
About you
11. ACA/ ACCA qualified with relevant experience.
12. Statutory audit experience, gained in a professional practice environment, ideally including experience of group audits, and preparing consolidated financial statements (not essential).
13. Full clean driving licence with unrestricted access to a car (desirable but not essential).
14. Organised and able to plan your own time efficiently.
15. Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
16. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
17. Professional and discreet in demonstrating client care.
18. Experience in using automated audit software and computer-based accounts and tax compilation programmes.
19. Previous experience of managing and developing people.
