We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Thorn Cross, a Category D prison based in Warrington.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without compromising on efficiency and quality.
This role is over 4 days, with hours: Monday to Friday - 7am to 5pm or 7.30am to 5.30pm; Weekends and Bank Holidays - 7.15am to 12noon.
This position is one day a week, with an annual salary up to £40,211 per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
* Be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Thorn Cross, bringing your clinical skills and passion for care.
* You could be involved in developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests, answering emergency bells, and potentially attending emergencies.
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.

Person Specification
Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (Adult), NMC qualified, with evidence of ongoing professional development. They should understand multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working, and possess a compassionate, non-judgmental approach. Ability to work independently following policies and procedures is essential.
