As a Masterplanner, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-profile projects ranging from garden towns to medium-rise urban developments. You’ll be part of a creative team that values placemaking, innovation, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the design process from visioning through to Outline Planning and Design Coding
* Produce high-quality planning documents including DAS, Design Codes, and Parameter Plans
* Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies
* Represent the studio in client meetings, public consultations, and stakeholder presentations
* Mentor junior team members and manage project timelines
* Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ UK-based experience in masterplanning
* RIBA Part 1 or equivalent urban design qualification
* Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and best practice
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Affinity (or Adobe CC)
* Excellent graphic, presentation, and report-writing skills
* Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
