Job Title: Project MEP Quantity Surveyor / Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor Location: Cambridge - 4-5 days site based Day Rate: £375-475/day Outside IR35 - Paid Ltd Contract Length: 18 Months This opportunity offers involvement on a major £20m MEP package within a high‑profile railway building services project in Central Cambridge. The scheme has a strong electrical focus and requires a commercially focused QS / SQS capable of supporting project delivery within a live construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing commercial activities across a major MEP package
* Supporting procurement, subcontract management, and CVRs
* Administering JCT contractual processes
* Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
* Working closely with operational teams to support commercial performance
* Providing accurate cost reporting and commercial control throughout delivery
Requirements
* Experience operating as a Project QS or Senior QS within MEP / Building Services
* Strong understanding of JCT contracts
* Strong commercial reporting and subcontract management skills
* Experience delivering projects through the full project lifecycle
* Railway building services experience preferred
