About The Role
A great opportunity has arisen for a Concrete Production Manager to join the management team at Brett Concrete, responsible for several concrete plants within the Business. Covering the Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire areas.
About Your Role
* Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of Operations, Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality and Sustainability.
* Manage budget responsibilities for operational spend, including fixed and variable costs. Produce accurate financial forecasts for capital expenditure and maintenance.
* Provide leadership, recruit staff, and ensure training and development plans are in place.
* Maximise plant availability and output through effective maintenance plans and LEAN Six Sigma techniques.
* Ensure stock management procedures and controls are effective and accurate.
* Deliver high levels of customer service and product quality to Brett Concretes customers.
We're Looking For
* Possession or willingness to work towards relevant SHE qualifications, such as MPQC Level 4 Diploma (or similar), IOSH Managing Safely, IEMA Environmental Sustainability for Managers, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2-3 years’ leadership experience in a similar multi-site role within the concrete or construction industry, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
* Ability to work as part of a team and be a goal-oriented self-starter.
* Strong relationship-building skills with external and internal customers and suppliers.
