Job Description
3. Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
4. Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning.
5. Monitor and control financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
6. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.
7. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
8. Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
9. Lead the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
10. Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
11. A solid background in accounting and finance within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
12. Professional qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or QBE/equivalent).
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
14. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
15. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
16. Experience in preparing financial reports and managing budgets.
17. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
