Overview
The Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship is your pathway to a rewarding career working with children from birth to age 5. You'll gain hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Responsibilities
As an apprentice in an early years setting, you'll be learning on the job while supporting the development and wellbeing of young children. Your duties typically include:
-Supporting children's learning through play and structured activities
-Observing children and helping track their progress
-Encouraging language, social, emotional, and physical development
-Assisting with personal care routines (e.g. toileting, feeding, dressing)
-Helping to set up and tidy learning environments
-Ensuring toys and equipment are clean and safe
-Following safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene procedures
-Assisting in planning and delivering activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
-Supporting children with additional needs (SEND)
-Contributing to learning journals and records
-Working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers
-Attending team meetings and training sessions
-Communicating effectively with children and adults

Desired Qualifications
GCSE English and maths at A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: £7.55 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
