Rate of Pay: £98.45 - £129.78 per day
Summary:
The Weighbridge Operator will be responsible for processing vehicle movements through the weighbridge, providing excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with site regulations and waste acceptance protocols, and maintaining accurate records and financial transactions. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a professional and efficient service to customers both face-to-face and over the telephone.
* Respond to customer enquiries, offering advice and guidance where required.
* Verify customer details, documentation, and waste-related paperwork to ensure compliance with legal and operational requirements.
* Assist customers in understanding their responsibilities and ensuring accurate information is provided for future visits.
* Operate the weighbridge system, accurately recording vehicle, waste, and account information.
* Enforce site regulations, waste acceptance procedures, and operational protocols
Essentials:
* Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Strong data entry and keyboard skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
