FP&A Manager - Leeds - Permanent up to £80k
Hays Senior Finance is exclusively partnering with a dynamic and rapidly expanding SME based in Leeds. Their mission is to revolutionise the online experience by offering a unique and high-quality service to customers. As they continue their growth, they are seeking a talented FP&A Manager to drive their financial strategy forward.
Role Summary
This is a newly created position. As an ambitious and self-starting FP&A Manager, you will own, create, and lead the financial planning and analysis functions, providing robust reporting with a focus on cash flow and performance. You will play a vital role in supporting the organisation's growth plans. Key responsibilities include:
1. Develop financial models and scenario planning to support business strategies
2. Provide analysis on key performance drivers, identifying risks and opportunities
3. Present financial insights to senior management, influencing strategic decisions
4. Lead and mentor a small FP&A team, fostering a high-performance culture
5. Manage modelling projects, including balance sheet and cash flow forecasting
6. Develop revenue and performance models, partnering with leaders to improve key entities
7. Enhance reporting tools and maximise performance through technology, including Power BI
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Extensive experience leading an FP&A function and team
* Strong modelling skills with experience in cash flow and revenue analysis
* Robust balance sheet, P&L, IFRS Standards, and CAPEX experience
* First-class communication and presentation skills
* Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
* Proficiency in financial management systems and group reporting tools
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
* Experience and training within a Top 4 or Top 10 accounting firm is advantageous
* Previous experience leading a small team
* Experience in fast-growing, entrepreneurial environments such as start-ups, private equity, or investor-led operations
* Experience in technology, e-commerce, data, fintech, digital platforms, etc., is a plus
Additional Details
The right to work in the UK without expiry, such as citizenship, ILW, or pre/settlement status, is required.
