Hire Driver/Fitter with Class 2 Licence at Sudbury Hirebase

As part of our expansion, we’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Hire Driver/Fitter to join the team at this cutting-edge Depot. At HIREBASE, we take pride in offering an extensive range of top-quality plant and tool hire, designed to meet the needs of everyone—from skilled tradespeople to DIY enthusiasts and self-builders. With over 90 branches across the nation and big plans for future growth, we’re eager to welcome self-motivated individuals who are ready to be a part of our exciting journey!
Here’s what you can expect to do as a Hire Driver/Fitter (Class 2) with Hirebase:
1. Carry out appropriate equipment and vehicle checks on a routine basis.
2. Ensure hire fleet is maintained and repaired to the company and legal standards.
3. Ensure all hire fleet maintenance records are kept up to date.
4. Keep Hirebase workshop safe, clean, and tidy to company standards.
5. Have responsibility of the hire fleet within your branch.
6. Safeguard against theft of company goods.
7. Complete distribution of hire equipment using company vehicles.
8. Follow and maintain company transport policies.
9. Serve customers efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
10. Complete stock takes as required.
11. Complete other branch duties as requested by members of the branch management team.
We know you are more than just a CV and embracing everybody’s individuality is what makes us great as a team. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, the will to succeed, and the work ethic to lead and be part of a winning team. You will need a Class 2 licence to be able to carry out this role.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm and alternate Saturday mornings 8am-12pm
