Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | Ripley | Salary - £53,482 Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Engineering company. They are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit and thriving team. Working hours: .Responsibilities:
* Diagnosing faults with machinery
* Servicing and emergency repairs
* Carry out asset care plans and PM schedules across a range of machinery.
* Operating within a CMMS system
* Plant, machinery, and services breakdowns, identifying root cause, and implementing the required mechanical and electrical asset care.
* Ensure all maintenance stock items are available within reason, monitor stock levels and manage orders
* Follow maintenance schedules and carry out routine servicing of machinery
* Ensure equipment runs efficiently and down times are minimised so that the plant runs to production plan and reliability is increased
Ideal Candidate:
* Time served (apprenticeship) mechanical biased maintenance engineer.
* Experience of working within a process-oriented environment
* Fault finding and root cause analysis experience.
* A pro-active approach and mindset to contribute within a continuous improvement culture.
* 4 years of Practical working experience in manufacturing
* Core mechanical competencies
* Welding
* Machine shop
* Be able to work flexibly from time to time, as required to suit the business needs.
* Experience of using IT packages such as Microsoft and CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
