Responsibilities
At Horizons, we are unwavering in our commitment to safeguarding, supporting, and empowering every young person in our care. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family and Welfare Officer to play a pivotal role in promoting the safety, wellbeing, and engagement of our students. This is a key position within the school, working at the heart of our provision to ensure that barriers to attendance, participation and learning are understood and effectively addressed.
You will join a highly skilled, dedicated and supportive safeguarding and welfare team, where collaboration, professional trust and a shared moral purpose underpin all that we do. The successful candidate will be instrumental in strengthening relationships with families, external agencies and the wider community, ensuring that our students receive the coordinated support they need to thrive both in school and beyond.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a tangible difference to the lives of vulnerable young people, within a nurturing and reflective working environment that values staff wellbeing and professional development.
