The Role
As a Key Account Executive (Account Manager / Customer Success Executive), you'll play an important role supporting the Sales Director and wider commercial team to maintain and grow key customer relationships.
This position sits within OGM's commercial division and focuses on day-to-day client interaction – answering queries, preparing quotations, tracking performance, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional service experience.
It's an ideal role for someone with around 2–3 years' experience in a customer-facing, sales support, client services, or commercial role who wants to build a long-term career in account management within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
You'll work primarily from our Oxfordshire office, with occasional travel to visit customers (around once a month).
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Location: Yarnton, Oxfordshire (office-based with occasional client visits)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
What You'll Be Doing
* Building and maintaining strong customer and client relationships through excellent service and clear communication
* Managing day-to-day customer enquiries, supporting ongoing commercial activity, and ensuring strong client satisfaction
* Preparing quotes, commercial estimates, proposals, and reports under the guidance of the Sales Director
* Analysing data, pricing, sales performance, and customer activity to support account planning and profitability
* Attending regular online or face-to-face customer meetings to strengthen relationships and understand client needs
* Collaborating with internal teams (production, logistics, finance) to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and service performance
* Maintaining CRM systems and Excel-based reports to track sales, customer activity, and account performance
* Identifying opportunities for account growth, upselling, cross-selling, and improved service delivery
What You'll Bring
* Around 2–3 years' experience in a customer-facing, account management, sales support, commercial administration, or customer success role (manufacturing or technical experience advantageous but not essential)
* Commercial awareness, strong numerical ability, and confidence working with data and Excel
* A proactive, organised approach with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and internal teams
* An eagerness to learn about manufacturing, technical processes, and commercial operations
* Confidence using CRM or ERP systems
* A positive, professional attitude with a desire to develop and progress in account management or sales
Please note: Due to our location and the need to visit customer sites, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
