My client is currently looking to recruit an outstanding Semi Senior Accountant who is willing to continually work in a proactive manner in order to help their clients succeed. This is on behalf of a well-established Top 75 firm.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who not only has experience working in a semi senior role but also can work as part of a team and on their own initiative. Be self-motivated and confident in their job role.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and duties:
* Maintaining and developing relationships with a wide-ranging client base.
* Preparation of limited company accounts and corporation tax computations.
* Preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
* Preparation of personal tax returns.
* Preparation and review of VAT returns and dealing with VAT queries.
* Preparation of management accounts.
* Dealing with general business enquiries from clients.
Key Skills/Requirements:
* Must have at least 6 years’ experience of working in an accountancy practice.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Include strong attention to detail, a professional approach to clients.
* IT literate including Microsoft Office.
* Previous experience of using Iris, QuickBooks, and Sage software would be a strong advantage.
