Who You Are We are looking for a proactive person who will be responsible for ensuring all properties within the Housing Gateway Ltd. (HGL) and Enfield Let (EL) portfolios have all statutory certificates and licences. The Compliance & Monitoring Officer (CMO) will be expected to liaise with contractors, tenants, and freeholders to arrange the testing and inspections required to ensure properties meet all statutory obligations and local property licensing conditions. What the Job Involves The Compliance and Monitoring Officer will manage the compliance of properties within the portfolios by coordinating necessary safety tests and inspections. Key activities include: Maintaining a compliance and inspection database. Producing a rolling 12-month work plan for testing and inspections. Instructing contractors and liaising with HGL/EL staff and tenants for access arrangements. Monitoring the completion of required testing/inspections and proper documentation. Handling stakeholder relationships with contractors, tenants, leaseholders, and freeholders. Coordinating enforcement actions if access for testing is consistently denied. Providing performance data and supporting management in reporting and procurement. Skills Good Excel skills; experience with data management Excellent written and verbal communication Strong understanding of property management compliance Experience in a commercial environment meeting targets Relationship management with varied stakeholders Performance reporting experience
