Job Title: Site Engineer (Civils / Groundworks)

About the Role
Our client, a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking for long-term progression within a reputable organisation.
Responsibilities
* Setting out for a range of civils and groundworks packages
* Managing levels, surveys, and quality assurance on site
* Ensuring all works are completed in line with project specifications and drawings
* Providing technical support to site teams and subcontractors
* Completing and maintaining site documentation, reports, and as-builts
* Liaising with project managers, site supervisors, and the client team
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or groundworks
* Strong knowledge of below-ground drainage design, including foul, stormwater and attenuation systems
* Proficient with setting-out equipment (GPS, robotic total station, etc.)
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* CSCS card required; other relevant tickets beneficial
