Finance Assistant

£24,029–£25,632 pro rata per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: ASAP / May 2026
Vision for Education are urgently seeking a committed and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to work at a secondary academy in the Ringmer area. This role comes with the possibility of becoming a permanent staff member in the setting. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the academy, ensuring processes are accurate, timely and compliant. You will work closely with academy staff and the central finance team to maintain smooth financial operations, while also supporting wider administrative functions when required. You will be provided with continuous professional development opportunities, a dedicated consultant and constant support throughout your time with us.
Requirements:
The desired Finance Assistant will;
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of professionals
Have strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
Have experience working in an administrative or finance support role
Have the ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
Have good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records and processes
