1. 1 year maternity cover until 2/6/2025
2. Full-time hours, 43 hours per week. Typical shifts are Monday – Thursday 8-6, Friday 8-4.
3. We can also consider a 34 hour contract over 4 working days.

At this friendly 5-surgery, specialist Orthodontic practice, we care for both NHS and private patients. You’ll work alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists in this modern and well-equipped practice. Exeter Orthodontics is one of circa 70 specialist orthodontic practices within PortmanDentex, making us the leading orthodontic provider in the UK
About you
We welcome your application to our Lead Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications (experience in Orthodontics isn’t necessary):
5. Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
6. Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
7. Certificate in Dental Radiography
8. A positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
9. Passionate about building great relationships with patients and colleagues, and providing exceptional standards of care

As a Lead Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for leading our nursing team, with duties such as; risk assessments, clinical audits, oversee practice SOP, oversee nurse rota, COSHH file, PPE management, infection control duties, surgery inspections, key holder, holding weekly meetings, servicing & maintenance, Radar and stock ordering.
