Exciting opportunities in MRI. The Newmarket CDC is now open, and preparations are underway for our new hospital.
The MRI service operates from 08:00 to 20:00, seven days a week. We are looking to expand our Band 6 team to support both the CDC and WSH teams.
The CDC offers a state-of-the-art environment with the latest technology, including a GE Voyager scanner with air coils and advanced AI features.
While this is a fixed-term position, it is expected to evolve with staff movement.
We seek an MR radiographer ready for a new challenge. Our friendly team performs a wide variety of studies, encouraging autonomy and decision-making. We support your wellbeing and professional development.
This role is funded by the CDC, with expectations to work across multiple sites.
You will be required to work extended days and weekends. Job share options are available.
Responsibilities include:
1. Participating in 7-day extended day working
2. Understanding MHRA and MRI safety protocols
3. Preparing patients and maintaining a tight schedule
4. Reviewing equipment and addressing artefacts or issues
5. Participating in QA programs
6. Training in ILS and ANTT protocols
7. Adapting protocols based on clinical needs
