Stockyard Operative at our Goxhill site in North Lincolnshire!
About the Role
1. Assist in the day-to-day running of the distribution function with the stockyard
2. Provide a helpful and efficient service to our haulage partners, customers and field Sales
3. Work closely with our distribution teams to facilitate the timely picking, packing and wrapping of all products prior to collection
4. Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping in accordance with our PIP targets, highlighting any concerns using the quality and hazard reporting process
5. Actively take part in any training to enhance your role
6. Continually challenge the status quo to drive further improvements
7. Operating Forklift Truck
Hours of Work: to, Monday to Friday
What You’ll Bring
8. Current / valid RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or CPCS forklift truck license with recent driving experience within the last six months
9. Previous manufacturing experience working with machinery
10. You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment where you can roll your sleeves up and get hands-on
11. Flexible and able to adapt to the different daily priorities in the factory which help us run efficiently as well as willingness to work overtime
12. Safety is our biggest priority, so you’ll be committed to safe working and have good general safety awareness
13. Able to work to production targets
14. Ability to understand work instructions (Standard Operating Procedures)
15. Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
16. Flexible approach to duties
17. Physically fit as the role involves significant manual handling and working outdoors in all weathers
18. Good literacy - as there is some paperwork involved
19. Excellent time keeping
