Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice and enhancing patient experience.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
* Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
* Handle patient inquiries both in person and over the phone, providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
* Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up to date and compliant with confidentiality regulations.
* Process invoices and take payments, obtain insurance details and verify patient eligibility for services.
* Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
* Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Skills
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a private healthcare setting.
* Strong administrative experience with excellent organisational skills.
* Proficient in using computer systems and medical software for scheduling and record management.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition.
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
