We’re excited to be recruiting for a fantastic independent broker in the region, offering a rare opportunity to work directly alongside the Directors and support the growing Handler team in Sheffield.

🔍 The Role
You'll be responsible for overseeing a team of Handlers managing a wide range of commercial insurance programmes. Key areas of focus include:
✅ Supporting the Directors on strategy and business growth
✅ Leading and motivating a team made up by experience and apprentices
✅ Driving technical development and improving client journey processes
✅ Managing workloads and maintaining service standards
✅ Championing a positive team culture and embedding core company values
✅ Ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and compliance in all interactions
💡 What You’ll Bring
✔️ Solid commercial insurance experience
✔️ Previous leadership or team management experience is advantageous
✔️ Knowledge of FCA/regulatory frameworks
✔️ Cert CII (or working towards)
✔️ Strong communication and coaching skills
✔️ Collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
✔️ Experience with Acturis is a plus

💰 £48,000–£55,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
