HGV Driver
Location - Invergordon
Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday (07:00 - 15:30)
To operate a chain lift skip lorry (and trailer when required) safely and efficiently, delivering high-quality service to customers while ensuring full compliance with road safety and transport legislation. The role involves following pre-planned work schedules, maintaining high safety standards, and representing the company professionally at all times.
You will be allocated your own new, high-spec vehicle, with daily schedules sent to your phone the previous evening.
Role Responsibilites:
* Comply with all road safety regulations and transport legislation
* Conduct daily walk-around vehicle checks in line with legal and company requirements
* Manage tachograph records in accordance with legislation
* Flexibly operate hook loaders, bin lorries, and vans to provide cover when required
* Be willing to work overtime when necessary
* Complete all daily paperwork accurately and on time
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of your allocated vehicle
* Undertake all mandatory training required for the role
* Assist with occasional yard duties
* Report incidents in accordance with company procedures
Do you have what it takes?
Experience required:
* Full driving License
* HGV C+E License
* Driver CPC
* Experience in chain lift skip lorry & hook loader preferred but not essential as full training will be given
* Experience in waste logistics preferred but not essential as full training will be given
* Experience with towing a trailer
