Overview
We are looking for a Professional Lifting and Handling Engineer to join our Safety team in Broughton. The role within the Manufacturing Engineering Safety Department is responsible for tasks such as, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
* LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulation) advice and guidance to support operational run business queries.
* Creation and modification of Lift Plans and Lifting Instructions.
* LOLER Appointed Person for abnormality management.
* Risk Assessments and Method Statements ensuring legal compliance.
* LOLER compliance checks and surveillance to ensure adherence.
* LOLER appointed Person supporting continuous improvement and future projects.
* Based in Broughton; may require travel depending on projects and engagement with all sites.
Qualifications / Experience
* Background and experience in Lifting and Handling.
* Knowledge of LOLER and BS:7121.
* Previous role(s) such as Slinger / Banks-person / Crane Driver.
* Preferably Lifting Specialist / Supervisor / LOLER Coach.
* Lifting Appointed Person A62/A61 or equivalent.
