Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in automotive parts? Steer Automotive Group is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our busy and dynamic team in Corby.

The Role

As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the workshop by sourcing, ordering, and managing vehicle parts. You’ll liaise with suppliers, technicians, and other internal departments to ensure that repairs are carried out smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

14. Order and receive vehicle parts in line with repair schedules

15. Maintain accurate records of stock and parts usage

16. Ensure timely delivery of parts to technicians to avoid delays

17. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams

18. Monitor parts availability and manage back orders

19. Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant parts department

About You

You will ideally have:

20. Previous experience in an automotive or accident repair parts department

21. Excellent communication and customer service skills

22. Strong organisational and time management abilities

23. A proactive and solution-focused mindset

24. Knowledge of parts systems and stock control processes (Autoflow experience a plus)
