Senior Sales Manager – Senior BDM Team

£40,000 plus uncapped commission
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will take ownership of managing a high-performing team of Senior Business Development Managers (BDMs). As an operational Team Lead, you will motivate, inspire and develop experienced sales professionals to consistently exceed targets and deliver outstanding results.
You will play a key role in driving revenue, embedding best practice, and ensuring your team operates at the highest standards of performance, compliance and professionalism. You’ll bring a positive, adaptable “can-do” attitude and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Lead, motivate and manage a team of Senior BDMs to achieve revenue targets, SLAs and KPIs
* Ensure your team fully understands performance drivers, campaign objectives and business priorities
* Deliver ongoing coaching, mentoring and development plans to maximise individual and team performance
* Plan weekly and monthly activity based on performance analysis, pipeline data and previous results
* Conduct daily performance reviews, weekly planning sessions and regular 1:1s
* Carry out agent contribution reviews, conduct and behavioural reviews in line with company policies
* Use MI and statistical analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities, implementing short- and long-term action plans
* Maintain accurate and compliant documentation to support performance management and development
* Ensure all compliance requirements are met, with clear and accurate paperwork completed for senior management review
* Stay up to date with all campaign changes, company updates and sales initiatives
* Lead by example, setting clear standards for behaviour, professionalism and performance
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales management role leading teams to targets
* Proven experience managing Senior BDMs or high-value sales teams
* Strong working knowledge of Salesforce
* Confidence using MI and statistical analysis to drive performance improvements
* Excellent understanding of inbound and outbound sales environments, including dialler systems
* A consistent, professional approach with the ability to set and maintain high standards
* Strong people-management skills with a coaching-led leadership style
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate, influence and build strong relationships
* A proactive, decisive and solutions-focused mindset
* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with experience delivering structured action plans
