Main Responsibilities
As an Electrician / Electrical Fitter, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on utility-scale renewable projects. You’ll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards, contributing to our mission of delivering reliable, grid-compliant electrical solutions.
Key Duties:
* Install, maintain, and repair HV, LV, and DC electrical systems in accordance with technical and safety regulations.
* Assemble, connect, and test panels, transformers, switchgear, inverters, and distribution boards.
* Perform cabling, glanding, terminating, and testing using approved electrical instruments.
* Support installation and integration of solar panels, mounting systems, and inverters.
* Conduct inspection, fault-finding, testing, and commissioning to ensure systems meet grid and project specifications.
* Prepare and complete site reports, test certificates, and handover documentation.
* Liaise with Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
* Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring PPE use and adherence to site protocols.
* Supervise or assist junior staff, participating in ongoing training and toolbox talks.
