Role overview:
As the Head of Procurement, you will devise, implement, and manage our procurement framework to support our strategy globally, focusing on IT categories such as hardware, software, services, cybersecurity, and telecommunications.
You will lead the procurement team supporting UK power generation, manage workloads, and focus on key spending areas to support our procurement and business needs. Responsibilities include tendering, negotiation, contract management, and ensuring effective procure-to-pay processes.
You will partner with stakeholders to co-create 3-5 year procurement plans, safeguard supply chains, and support annual budgets. The role includes line management responsibilities.
Candidate profile:
Ideally MCIPS qualified with extensive experience in procurement, demonstrating end-to-end lifecycle expertise and process improvements. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential. Experience driving transformational change is preferred.
