The project\: Due to our continued growth, we require a project manager who will be responsible for the delivery of multiple fast-paced property investments programmes for major Highstreet retail clients. This role sits in our consultancy business, specifically the commercial private sector so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their experience beyond retail in the delivery of fit-out and relocation projects for major corporate clients. You will join our team of UK wide Project Managers, delivering several different investment types including, new store fit outs, extensions, refurbishments, planned asset renewals and initiative roll outs. As Project Manager, you will have sole responsibility for the delivery several projects, ranging in value from £100k - £20m each. Reporting into the Mace Account/Programme lead. The successful candidate will manage projects within a geographic area, ideally centred to your home location, however some UK wide or European travel should be expected. You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project. You will actively network and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub. You’ll need to have: Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the retail sector. Property or infrastructure project management expertise. Commercial and financial acumen. Experience of working on projects within large, diverse teams. Experience of developing and forming relationships with other stakeholders within projects. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
