Position Description
An established law firm working across the country is seeking a solicitor/barrister (remote working) to act as In-House Counsel as part of their team. The role offers remote or hybrid working options, providing flexibility while working with a highly experienced legal team.
Key Responsibilities
* Review housing disrepair case files and provide support to fee earners.
* Draft particulars of claim and ensure timely return to fee earners.
* Draft replies to defences and counterclaims when required.
* Collaborate closely with the firm’s Senior In-House Counsel, assisting with various tasks to ensure all actions are completed efficiently.
* Maintain compliance with civil procedure and ensure all legal documents are prepared to a high standard.
Ideal Candidate
* Possesses a strong academic background and excellent technical skills, particularly in drafting and civil procedure.
* Experience in drafting particulars of claim.
* Has a high attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines efficiently.
* Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to provide support across multiple cases.

Job Requirements
