Profile Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Principal Lead Process Engineer with over 10 years of experience in delivering complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Proven ability to lead process engineering teams drive technical excellence and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee process engineering activities across all project phases from concept to commissioning.
* Manage and mentor a team of process engineers ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
* Interface with clients, project managers and other discipline leads to align engineering scope and execution strategy.
* Approve and validate process design documents, simulations and calculations using tools such as Aspen HYSYS, UniSim or similar.
* Manage process safety through active participation in HAZOP, LOPA, SIL and other risk assessments.
* Implement and enforce change control procedures ensuring budget and schedule impacts are clearly communicated and managed.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the process discipline promoting innovation and operational efficiency.
* Support business development and proposal efforts by contributing technical expertise and estimating discipline scope.
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering (Chartered Engineer status preferred).
* 10 years of experience in process engineering with at least 5 years in a lead role within EPC / EPCM environments.
* Strong working knowledge of cross-discipline interfaces (Mechanical Piping EC&I Civil Automation).
* Expertise in process simulation design and safety engineering.
* Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strategic mindset with a clear vision for transitioning into engineering management.
