Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing.
We are now recruiting for a Technical Brewer to work closely within the Brewing team as we continue to innovate and deliver beers and ales.
What will you be doing?
* Provide technical brewing support to production operations covering the end to end brewing process from raw materials through wort production, fermentation, and beer processing/filtration.
* Develop the technical capability within the production teams through effective coaching and creation of standard operating procedures.
* Lead, execute, and deliver continuous improvement, and relevant existing product and new product development initiatives on site.
* Liaise with other entities of Carlsberg Group to provide technical support, and facilitate the creation, sharing, and implementation of best practice and benchmarking standards.
* Develop positive relationships with all interfacing departments through effective communication and feedback.
* Be a role model and lead health, safety, and environment initiatives on site.
What are we looking for?
* Previous experience in a Technical Brewing position.
* IBD Diploma in Brewing is a must and Master Brewer (or working towards preferred).
* Knowledge and experience of using Lean management systems.
* Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Proactive attitude and ability to multitask different projects.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Full UK working rights.
