Are you seeking your next career opportunity as a Field Service Engineer? Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, is looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Workshop area (S80, S81 DN11). We are interested in candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly those who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
* Perform preventative maintenance and servicing at customer sites.
* Work with a full range of products, from small pallet trucks to Counterbalance, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA), and automated trucks.
* Utilize provided specialist tooling and IT systems to place orders and maintain records.
Qualifications
* Experienced vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers; experience in forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or vehicle technician roles is desirable.
* Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is advantageous.
* Ideally NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), though not essential.
* Full UK driving licence (Field and Resident Engineers only).
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team; comfortable using IT systems for records and ordering.
