Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver specialising in Low Loader operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in delivering specialised loads using flatbed and low loader trailers. Duties
* Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles with low loader attachments, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
* Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
* Deliver goods to various locations across the region, adhering strictly to scheduled times and routes.
* Secure loads appropriately using suitable equipment, ensuring the safety of cargo during transit.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding progress or issues.
* Comply with all legal requirements, including tachograph regulations, driving hours, and road safety standards.
* Assist with loading and unloading when necessary, ensuring proper handling of all cargo.
Qualifications
* Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed or low loader trailers.
* Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and professionalism on the road.
* Knowledge of current road transport legislation and safety standards.
* Ability to operate flatbed equipment safely and efficiently.
* Good organisational skills, with the ability to plan routes effectively and manage time efficiently.

£50 per week bonus
Looking for a HGV Class 1 driver which will involve a mixture of Low loaders and flat bed work. Experience would be preferred and a knowledge of Farm machinery and plant machines would be an advantage. Must be able to adapt to other types of work in quiet periods. Nights out involved.
