Legal Assistant – 12-month FTC

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established law firm based in Stratford-upon-Avon. They are looking for a Legal Assistant to join them to support on an administrative basis. This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave in the team.
Duties and responsibilities of a Legal Assistant include (but are not limited to):
1. Provide day-to-say administrative support to paralegals, solicitors, and managers.
2. Maintain accurate and well-organised electronic and paper files in accordance with firm standards.
3. Upload correspondence, documents and records onto the case management system promptly and accurately.
4. Assist with file opening and closing in line with firm procedures.
5. Manage diaries, appointments and meetings as instructed.
The person:
6. Previous experience in an administrative legal role.
7. Strong organisational skills.
8. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
9. Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
10. A ‘no job too small’ mentality with a reliable and conscientious work ethic.
