Job Purpose:
A highly reputable manufacturer of speciality chemicals and alloys are seeking a proactive maintenance engineer professional to minimise downtime, conduct planned maintenance and continuous improvement tasks across site.
The successful candidate will be a hands on, Multi-Skilled Engineer with a mechanical bias and have a desire to improve machinery availability, life cycle costs and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive repairs to a variety equipment and control systems
* Carry out planned Maintenance activities.
* Minimising downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets
* Supervision of outside contractors/service engineers and tradesmen as required
* Management of small projects such as equipment installation or staff training
* To develop and implement process improvements
Requirements:
1. Completed a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Proven experience post apprenticeship in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
