Role: Electrical Engineer (projects)
Location: TATA Steel, Port Talbot (SA13)
Salary: up to £60k (dependent upon experience)

Responsibilities:
Delivering complex engineering projects
Working on projects to help deliver world class efficiency, safety and sustainability of operations
Supporting on major capital projects
Planning, designing and executing electrical work from concept to commissioning
Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver technical solutions
Coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure project objects are met
Ensuring any designs comply with industry standards, codes and regulations
Overseeing installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment
Working as part of a team that is driving engineering excellence, you'll collaborate with a range of diverse stakeholders
Create project plans and proposals that will support and improve our business.
Drafting technical specifications and requests for quotations from OEMs and contractor partners.This role is ideal for someone with heavy industry, project management and CDM regulations experience. The successful applicant will be a degree educated Electrical Engineer who has a solid understanding of project management techniques, risk assessment, and safety study methods.
Essential requirements:
Degree educated in Electrical Engineering
3+ years industry experience (Heavy industry/Manufacturing and/or large scale engineering environments)
The ability to project manage and lead a team with proven experience of this
Familiarity with the construction (design and management) regulations (CDM)
Sound understanding of UK health and Safety legislation including risk assessments
Strong verbal and written communication skillBenefits:
