Your new role
This senior-level role provides high-level, confidential support to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, requiring exceptional discretion and professionalism. You will deliverprehensive secretariat andernance support, ensuring efficient planning, coordination, andmunication within a fast-paced CEO office. Responsibilities include managing Board andmittee meetings, maintainingernance documentation, and ensuringpliance with regulatory requirements.The role contributes to the organisation’s mission to promote high-quality, evidence-informed early childhood services for children, families, andmunities, guided by values of inclusion, partnership, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide proactive, high-level secretarial support to the CEO, includingplex diary management, email monitoring, travel arrangements, and confidential documentation handling.
2. Organise and coordinate meetings, conferences, and video calls, ensuring all logistical and administrative requirements are met.
3. Act as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders, managingmunications on behalf of the CEO with professionalism and alignment to organisational values.
4. Draft and prepare correspondence, presentations, and speeches, incorporating relevant policy content where required.
5. Maintainernance andpliance processes, including managing electronic document libraries, preparing Board reports, and submitting regulatory returns.
6. Oversee Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsibilities, ensuring timely responses to regulatory requirements and maintaining the Data Processing Register.
7. Manage policy review and approval processes, ensuring timely scheduling andpliance withernance standards.
8. Lead and project manage administrative systems to ensure efficiency and customer-focused service delivery.
9. Provide rmendations to strengthenernance and administrative arrangements, including facilitating training where necessary.
10. Monitor CEO budget and ensure financial transactionsply with organisational systems.
11. Handle confidential HR information and participate in recruitment processes as required.
12. Represent the organisation at meetings and events as agreed with the CEO
What you'll need to succeed
Essential CriteriaAt the closing date applicants, must have:
13. Educated to degree level standard or above in a relevant discipline.
14. At least two years’ corporateernance or legalpliance or information security or policy research and development.
15. Highly proficient in MS Office applications and strong IT skills.
16. Strong attention to detail.
17. A high level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
18. Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria
19. Have or be willing to obtain a corporateernance qualification.
20. Certification in data protection.
