A Day in the Life:
You will be supporting operations (inventory, dispatch, packaging) in any of the ambient, cold or ultra-low temperature areas. This may include:
1. Picking and packing client orders to fulfil business targets
2. Receiving deliveries from couriers into the accurate storage location and onto the relevant inventory software
3. Following Production Orders to complete client packaging requirements, including set up and clean down of rooms/equipment
4. Completing GMP paperwork with accuracy, meeting crucial timelines
5. Completing inventories, cycle counts, and waste disposals
6. Following Standard Operating Procedures
7. Focusing on delivery for internal and external customers
8. Maintaining good housekeeping and promoting a safe working environment
9. Maintaining compliance with all safety & quality regulations, through the necessary training and proficiency programs, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
10. Supporting the culture of Continuous Improvement through the PPI Lean Process
11. Reporting Health and Safety and Quality risks, near misses and incidents to Line Management
12. Any other duties on an ad-hoc basis as required by Line Management

Education:
18. Possession of an English GCSE or an equivalent qualification/experience
19. Experience/qualification in Mathematics at the GCSE level or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
20. IT literate
21. Ability to work under pressure and support others within the team
22. Good attention to detail
Desirable Experience:
23. Prior experience in a GxP environment
24. Prior experience with cold environments
25. Hands-on experience working with biological and/or pharmaceutical materials
26. Forklift experience desirable but not crucial as full training will be provided
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
These tasks will align with Health & Safety guidelines, The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, and relevant manual handling evaluation criteria and mentorship.
This position functions in a warehouse environment, which may include working with dry ice, liquid nitrogen, hazardous and infectious agents, as well as marked changes in temperature.
A good level of hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity is required for packaging and labelling activities.
