Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm, in recruiting an Azure Security Architect to partner with them and their end client on large-scale transformation projects within the security space until the end of 2025 initial contract to help with a azure migration for a large global financial services organisation
Contract Assignment Details:
1. Start date: ASAP
2. Contract Length: until end of December 2025 - potential extension
3. Location: Primarily remote, with flexibility odd day in London
4. Rate: Approximately £585 per day plus 12.07% holiday pay (Employer's NI and tax deducted at source (unlike umbrella companies, which deduct at source and charge admin fees))
The Azure Security Architect must have:
5. Extensive experience as a Security Architect in large-scale Financial Services organisations.
6. Proven expertise in designing and implementing secure architectures within Azure public cloud solutions.
7. Strong knowledge of securing Azure infrastructure, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
8. Comprehensive understanding of security architecture frameworks and best practices (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF).
9. Hands-on experience with security tools and processes, such as SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response within Azure environments.
10. The ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior security stakeholders and technical security departments.
11. Capability to engage with finance stakeholders to analyse and map business needs and processes.
12. Experience in leading the development and implementation of business applications and financial solutions.
13. A solid understanding of security architecture reviews and ensuring these are embedded within:
14. Technology acquisition and delivery processes.
15. Software development lifecycles.
16. Architecture governance processes.
17. Familiarity with participating in Security Architecture Design Forums and Architecture Review Boards.
