GI Pro are recruiting for a CNC Programmer for our precision engineering client based in Ripley, Derby. The role will involve programming, setting and operating a variety of machines including a 5-axis Mill-Turn machine.
The role:
* You will be programming, setting and operating 5‑axis Mill‑Turn machines
* Using controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain and Mazatrol
* Carrying out self‑inspection of work to ensure quality
* Working with materials such as nickel, titanium, aluminium and steel
* Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Person Specification:
* CNC Programming experience is essential
* Ideally worked with multiple control systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Ideally be apprentice trained, time‑served or hold a relevant qualification
The Package:
* Permanent position
* Days and night shift rotating every 2 weeks
* Immediate start
* Overtime available paid at a premium
