We have an opportunity for a Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Chertsey, Surrey.
The practice is looking for a veterinary surgeon who ideally has good experience gained in a small animal practice, excellent communication skills and the ability to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients. You will be fully confident in all routine medical and surgical procedures and consultations in order to lead the clinical team through your experience. You will have the confidence to work sole charge as this will be required.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 3 half or 1 in 6 full weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

About you
24. You will have practical experience gained in a small animal practice
25. You will be comfortable working sole charge
26. You will ideally have a bias or area of specialism that you would like to pursue
27. You will be comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations
28. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic
29. An interest in pursuing a certificate would be supported and encouraged

Package:
50. Salary: £60, to £80, per annum, commensurate to experience
51. Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
