The Role
You'll play a key part in managing the financial performance of social housing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Working closely with the operational and commercial teams, you'll provide expert cost and contract management support.
Responsibilities
Oversee the financial and contractual management of social housing projects
Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
Manage valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
Negotiate and manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Provide commercial support and strategic input to project teams
Ensure compliance with company and client financial procedures
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (ideally within social housing, refurbishment, or maintenance projects)
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT or NEC)
Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Confident communicator, able to build strong internal and external relationships
Degree qualified or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying
